Ordering New Suspension Set-up - Need Help!

alright guys,

Ive decided to go with tokico Dspecs or HPs and the 350Z Htechs. im looking for a conservative drop so i dont scrape on my driveway and i can get everything back into alignment.

So i read from so people that going with the 350Z tokico shocks are better since im going with the 350z springs because they are a little more aggressively valued. Arent the 350Z tokico a shorter body? That makes the drop a bit lower right? i really want to keep the drop above an inch.

i need help. im ordering my shocks SOON. Should i go with the 350Z versions or the g35 versions??

thanks!!

if your going to lower the car less than an inch, i would go with the ones made for the g35.

so you are saying that the 350Z shocks will actually lower the car as well?

how much extra drop dies that equal?

No the springs lower the car. Shocks will not lower the car at all. I'm lowered about 1.3 around an I'm on 350 dspecs. The reason for the 350z version is that the shock is shorter making it less compressed than a g35 setup. Your going to lower the car a small amount, so I said to go with the g35 version so you have close to a stock shock travel. I posted up in a few treads about this. Search and you'll find a better explaination.

Please stop referring to camber as chamber, this has to be the millionth time you've done it

from the research on this board, the drop with 350Z Htechs could result in tire alignment back to specs without the use of a rear camber kit. it would basically drop the car to a bit less than an inch. i was really considering coils but im too scared to buy the cheaper coils PLUS that MAX ride height on most coils is LOWER than what i want.

also if you are suggesting that you would not need a camber kit (i dont know what a CHAMBER kit is, btw) if you went with coils, you are flat wrong.
