Help me firm up my suspension...
I'm good with the wheel gap of stock. I know, most peeps aren't. Anyways, I'm just looking to "firm up" the suspension a little, especially in the rear. I have a non-sport and it's just seems a little mushy. ???
Can a stock sport suspension be had???

Hotchkis sways and a set of TOKIKO D-spec shocks. You can firm them as hard as you want, their adjustable. You can get the whole set up for around a grand or less and it's easy to install. It firmed mine up real tight. It's so much fun now, in fast, brake hard, set the line and floor it. It's hard to even make it slide now.
Sport shocks are a bit firmer and run with 10% stiffer springs. But the overall feel driving the suspension's back to back isn't awe inspiring in the sport suspension's favor. Neither setup is controlled very well damping wise, sport just isn't as bad. Your far better off getting something with decent valving. As Texascout said, Tokico D-specs. Install them at 5 clicks up from full soft.
If you don't need adjustability Bilstein H.D's would be a even better choice, but more expensive. I do not recommend Koni's unless you will track the car in some sort of way, casual or serious.
Added on at the time you do the shock upgrade or not, the Hotchkis sway's would be a good upgrade as well.
I would say get the sways to reduce the roll and then try the D-specs like tex said. if you feel like you dont like the stock spring with them then try the coupe sport springs which are a little stiffer and a little lower.
You can also look into replacing your OEM bushings with the harder rubber Nismo bushings

Scored a GT Spec rear tie brace for cheap, so I'll add that. I think I'm going to add things one at a time to see how each mod increases the performance.
I'll be getting coupe 18" rims soon and I'll determine what else I might need once I evaluate the wheel gaps.
I'll probably do the sways next and then go from there.

Braces should be the absolute dead last thing you buy and even then I do not recommend ANY. Based on what your first post say's your complaining about, shocks should be your first priority, then maybe sways. I don't have aftermarket braces because whats marketed and pitched for this platform, I don't believe leverage any meaningfull increase in stiffness, and that view finds owner reviews meaningless (sorry). I still see review's for other products I've tried and considered failures, lovingly spoken of and recommended.

^ The brace was scored for cheap... Think I said that.? Wasn't looking for it, but it just presented itself. It isn't a solution for my mushy rear end issue... That being said, I think the reviews and personal experiences of fram stiffening are valid, although maybe not practical in an every day driver vehicle. I'll still take a stiffer frame for cheap any day. http://www.nicoclub.com/articles/GTS...5-gtspec.shtml
One thing I've noticed is that my wheel gap seems way less pronounced that most pics of stock height G35's on the site. ? I'm still researching and all, but I'm thinking coupe springs and some nice shocks, then sways are going to do the trick.

Just ordered the 350evo rear sway bar... http://www.350evo.com/catalog/produc...roducts_id/256
I'll be adding that with the rear tie bar. I'll report back on the results.

First off let me offer a small apology to VA 04 g35... Seems as if the 350evo rear sway bar I installed did indeed "tighten" up the rear end a bit.
Install took about an hour (yeah I'm slow), but it was a very easy install. The stock bar was a flimsy piece of crap that's for sure. The 350evo bar is solid and is pretty heavy in comparison - shipping weight was 15lbs. It also comes with the bushings, new brackets, and silicon grease. Nice freaking bar for the price, which it's on sale right now, shipped for a little over a $100! I installed it at the middle hole which I assume is medium and wow! I have no other mods and stock non-sport suspension and I was able to throw the car into corners confidentally. I was a little worried at first because it goes under the exhaust, but it's no lower than the lowest point on the muffler or the the front under engine cover. Also, it comes REALLY close to the mid-pipe and can actually touch it if you wiggle the pipe. I haven't heard any rattling or clanging so I assume it's fine. All in all I'm really happy with this purchase!
