NRG strur bar review...bought a used one from a member here, who BSed his way about how good it is and this and that. When I've actually got the bar, it looked a bit flimsy. But when it came time to installing it...oh I had to put up a fight with it. I had to bend it with a grow bar, just a little so that the bolt aligns with the holes. When I've thought that was the end of my "struggle" I was given another surprise from NRG strut bar...since it needed some flexing to alight with the holes...now the strut bar itself, had a slight arch to it. Due to that arch, the hood was not latching and I wasn't going to force it. Took it right now and never put it on again.
Oh and I must add that NRG and the previous user swear by it, saying that I was installing it wrong. Tried installing with both wheels off the ground, with both on the ground...same affect!!!
So save yourself a headache and GO with a DIFFERENT brand other than NRG.
That is my 2cents

What are you going for? Do you want engine bling? If so, then it doesn't really matter what brand you go with. Do you want to stiffen your chassis? Then get chassis stiffeners and not a strut bar first. For most people the strut bar is more show than go since undercarriage stiffeners will help more than the strut bar will.
