So 350z springs are all I need to lower the car?

I have a couple of questions:

1: if i want to lower my car, are the springs all I need? I've bee told that I would need some spacers too ?

2: I've had problem with rear wheels rubbing the fender after I changed to 19" rays. but problem solved after I rolled the fender. I wonder if the rubbing will re-occure again after i lowered the car?

thank you

All you will need is the springs...but beware that you could prematurely wear the shocks.

Rubbing shouldn't be an issue if you rolled the fenders properly.

You shouldn't be rubbing with stock suspension.

I wouldn't run z springs on non sport sedans. The ride will be sacrificed quite a bit. I would use the z springs and shocks together, revised setup. Can be purchased for 2-300 dollars at most. If the fender roll solved the rubbing, it shouldn't rub when you lower it as the suspension still travels the same direction and lowering it will actually give you more negative camber.

Unless he's running very wide tires, like 265 or greater. OP, you don't need spacers, in fact you should be nice and flush with your Rays. And yes, use the Z shocks as well.

How about some pictures?

if you have sport package then you can keep your shocks/struts as long as you use unrevised Z springs. If not, you should swap everything.

the spring rates were revised. 03 350z had a lower spring rate than older models for the rear springs only. Fronts always stayed the same

Agree, however you WILL wear even the Sport (Red) shocks out quickly, mine lasted a year and started leaking in the rear. Never fear! Tokico D-specs to the rescue! You can pick them up for less than $600 and they are adjustable and garanteed for life. You WILL need an alignment, just tell them to get it as close to OEM spec as they can. This will give you just a bit (1.2 deg) of camber in the back which will improve handleing but MAY increase inner tire wear. In my case, it's not that bad if you rotate tires.

I used the 350Z Unrevised springs. The back sits a bit lower than the front, but I have a set of Coupe spings for the back that should take care of that.

Some before and after pics:

After and with new wheels/tires:
