I have an 03 G35 sedan and I need new pads and rotors. The parts place is saying that the pads are different based on the number of caliper pistons.

I am assuming the non-brembo's have a single caliper and the factory brembo's are 2 piston calipers?

I just wanted to confirm as I have the non-brembo set up.

Thanks for the help

All 03 sedans have the small 11.x" front rotors and single piston calipers. Although he is right in the sense that the newer 05+ Gs have the larger 12.6" front rotors and twin piston calipers, it's a moot point when presented with the 2003 year.

Oh and although the dust on the oem pads suck the large one, I'd really consider just using the oem pads and put up with the dust. Most of not all aftermarket pads that market theirs as low dust give up a noticable amount of intial brake dist performance when cold to achieve this. Not worth it especially with the winter coming up.

Yeah I am going with OEM ceramic pads and OEM rotors, but not from the dealer!
