brembo brakes

ok i finally got the brembo pads and i just ordered the stoptech rotor.i got the clips with the pads ,but do i have to buy new clamps from the dealer parts guy said i should .or could i just run the old ones???

What clamps are you talking about? Are you referring to the spring clip that keeps the pads in place? If so, then you can reuse the old one. Just hit it with some brake cleaner.

no the hole piece on top of the pads

I have no idea what you're referring to. Your terminology doesn't make sense. What "hole piece"? On the Brembo brakes, there is a caliper, slide pins, a spring clip and cotter pins. You certainly don't replace the caliper, and all the other hardware can be cleaned up and reused if it's in good condition. Besides that, all you're left with is the pad itself, and assuming you bought Brembo OEM pads, the shims come already bonded to the pad. If you didn't get OEM pads, then you need to reuse the old shims (clean them up first) from the OEM Brembo pads.
