for all the guys that are slammed or lowered how do you get your cars on a ramp/fork type lift for oil changes, wheel changes, maitanance, etc...?

i change my own oil, as for maintenance work find a place that was a ground rack.
went to get my winters wheels put on. no 1 wanted to touch my car. the place the did had to use 2- 2x6s and used a reg car jack. they wouldnt do my oil change,
i went to a place where they go under a pit and my car still wouldnt clear.
imagnie if i had to go to a dealer for a major repair.

Jack up the rear by jacking up the pumpkin for a lift. 2x4s, etc... for a ramp.
whats the pumpkin? im not to familiar with the complicated components of the car? if i were to to jack the rear up by the pumpkin how would i jack up the front?

The pumpkin is the center section of your differential! Now that I have your attention, to get your lowered G on a rack make yourself some ROLLUPS or most auto parts stores carry them if you don't have a 2X4 a saw and some screws handy. I keep mine in the trunk just in case I ever need them. No they're not pretty but WTF they work!Gary

Hold on people. Are you trying to say that if I lower my AWD sedan with Eibachs, many places including dealer will not be able to lift my car? 
Is it possible or I'm missing something? Should I rethink my approach to lowering?

If you're dropped significantly on those springs (not familiar with them), then they may not be able to get your car on an alignment rack or lift. With some wood or ramps, most shops can get you up if they really tried, but it all depends on how much they want to help you out. Originally Posted by remo

There's only two places that I can get my car aligned, and I only take my car to two shops ever to get work done. Lowering is generally a huge pain in the *** in all respects, but it looks so good.
