Motordyne Adjustable Sway Bars for the 350Z and G35.
#92
Finished putting the front on last nite and wanted you to know that the i had to do some modification on the front bar in order to use the stock bushing. I have an 05 6MT sedan and the stock front sways are 4.5 inch thick, where your is 3.5 inch thick, therefore i had to wrap the bar an inch thick with tape in order to use the stock front bushing. Not sure if the guys with base model have to worry about that or not but something to consider if you have the sports package.
My current setup is Eibach prokit coupe springs on 350z shocks up front and megan coupe springs on 350z struts in the rear. Coupe 18's wrapped with 225 35 Nankang up front and 225 40 in the rear. I have the front set at med and rear set at firm. To me it seems like the car is a lot more responsive, dont really feel like im on rails but i think this is due to having crappy tires and a narrow wheel.
I think the car would feel 10x better if i had a wider and better tires.
Overall very happy with the mod. For those that are DIY have fun!

^ i didnt get any either but it's pretty strait fwd.
1: Jack the car up and secure it with jackstands.
2: Remove the 15 or so 10 mm screws that hold up the plastic underpanel
3: There should be 3 nuts and one bolt for each side of the front sway this is not including the 1 nut for each of the end link.
4: You should be able to drop the stock sway now
5: Take the old bushing from stock sway and add to new or put on new sway if you purchased new ones.
6: Install new sway
Rear
There should be a 2 covers that you have to take off, when you get under the car you will see it.
1: Remove cover
2: Remove 4 nuts that holds on the sway and 2 nuts where the end link is
3: I had to unbolt the two nuts that held on the muffler in order to get the stock sway off.
4: Add bushing to new sway, install.
Good item to have around is a breaker bar and / pipe. The bolts on my car was a pain. Also good to wear safety glasses while under the car, a lot of debris falls out of the under carriage.
Kinda vague instructions but once you get under the car you will know what im talking about.
Good luck.

Did even bother to look for bushing cause a few post back I asked what size bushing to get and you mentioned you could get stock bushings for any nissan or infiniti dealer.
Either way i made the stock ones work.

Check all the protective packaging that came in the box. Its in there. In a small zip lock. It will drive better with the new bushings.
And yes, the rear bar is stock diameter so you don't need to replace them.
EDIT: I could also post up the rear stock bushings from Nissan or Infiniti but its not necessary for the rears. Just use the ones in place. The front bushings however do need to be changed out.
