I'm pretty much a noob when it comes to brakes so I would appreciate anyone who can help me.

3 months ago I purchased a used 05 G35 (46k) and i'm sort of having a brake problem now. As off about a month ago I've noticed a noise coming from my brakes when my car is in reverse and I'm backing out of the driveway. Now this noise only comes in the morning (which is anywhere from 40-55 degrees) when I'm backing out and braking (it's a squeling noise as soon as I hit the brakes). I've only heard this noise one other time which was in the afternoon when it's a little more warmer.

Is this noise indicating that I need new brakes all together or that I need new brake pads?

Btw: when I'm driving there is no noise coming from my brakes.

Check your pads, they might need replacing.
