04 Coupe Suspension question

hey guys i have a 04 coupe AT non sport. My struts are going slowly. I live in nyc and used to have hondas and acura, so a drop is out the question. I wanted to know could i get aftermarket struts and run them with my oem springs. im not in the mood to dodge pot holes in nyc at all? 2nd question. if i must change da struts and springs....which will namebrand will give me the minimal drop? I dont want coilovers...i hate them and the feeling they give. Thanks guys

If you don't want to go lower, you don't need new springs. Tokico HP (~$300) non-adjustable or Tokico D-Spec (~$540) adjustable are the most recommended strut/shock upgrade.

Tokico HP (Blues):

Monroe Sensatracs:

KYB GR2s should also work as an OEM replacement.

or you can simply go OEM
