Hawks VS Project MU VS OEM pads.

I am currently running Hawks Hps on my coupe, and I am quiet disappointed with their cold weather performance. The consensus seemed to be Hawks Hps being the best for members on this forum and others, but I don't see why all the rave for these pads.

After 8 months with the Hawks Hps, I noticed the initial bite that OEM pads had were gone, scary stopping moments in cold temperatures; not to mention the brake squeal. On the plus side, they stop pretty good once heated up and when running hard, you don't experience brake fade.

My question is, does Project Mu offer the same initial bite as the OEM pads, no brake squeal, as well as not being compromised in colder temperatures?

Also, if I were to go back to OEM pads would they wear faster, because I am using slotted rotors?

I just need some insight on brake pads, as I am about to switch out my Hawks.

if you are not concerned with fade, the OEM's will serve you well and they will not wear faster b/c you have slotted rotors. I'm sure someone can chime in on the project mu's. Also, have you considered Carbotech? I've heard very good things about them.

^Thanks dude. I will look into these pads, as I never heard of them. Let's see what other members are going to chime in with.
