OEM Brembos

I have an 06 coupe. I'm thinking of converting to the oem Brembo brakes.
I'm looking for opinions on the performance of these brakes.

Is it worth doing the swap?

Thanks...

depends on how much you get the calipers, rotors, brake lines for and it's quality.

Ask yourself this. Will you be tracking the car? If not, then No.

If you are, have you looked into the Akebono G37 sport brakes?

Only worth it if you're going for looks, or if you track the car and want slightly better braking under harsh condition. For the street it's not going to make any difference. Even if you're just going for looks, it's debatable if they're worth it because most people are still trying to sell their 6-7 year old Brembo brakes with like 50k miles on them for $1000+.

I wouldn't get them, but that's just my take on it.

No, I do not go to the track. But, on the weekends I do a lot of track-like driving.

Not yet. Will they fit on a G35 and are under 2K?

Looks good.
I found someone selling a set of used ones for $1,300. I was thinking of getting those until I realized I can get new Akebonos for a few hundred more.

I knew $1,300 was kinda high, I expected around 1K. How much did you get yours for?

$1,100 shipped but they came complete w/pads drilled Brembo rotors and lines. i didn't use the rotors, pads or lines though. LOL, you can just get calipers for around $600ish usually.

^I'll talk to the guy tomorrow. He's selling the calipers, rotors, and new pads. If he won't settle for 1K or less then I won't bother.

I love my brembo on my 03 but one complaint i have is that they get my front rims dirty with in a few miles of normal driving.
