Spring mount mod help!

Ok so i lowered my car on 350z H-Techs! The pass rear is a hafe inch higher then the drivers side. So i drove the car for about 100 miles no change! I checked the top and bottom rubber mount to make sure they where right on the spring! So i just did a 1/2 pass spring mount mod to drop it a 1/2 to try to even the rear drop! I just installed it and drove it aroung the block and it lowered it on a 1/4 inch but it also made the drivers side drop a 1/4. I didnt gain anything by doing the mod im still a 1/2 higher on pass even though i cu the mount a 1/2 inch. So im bach whwre i satrted im just a hafe in lower. But after doing just the pass spring mount mod the pass still it 1/2 high than the drivers side!! What is the issues and what can i do to fix this!

Coilovers will fix this problem.

Sorry dude, I'm having trouble understanding what's wrong. You did the spring mount mod but the car didn't go any lower? Where are you measuring from?

Ok my drivers side rear is 1/2 lower than the pass side! I have a 1 finger gape on divers rear and a 2 finger gap pass side rear! So i cut the pass spring mount a 1/2 to try to = the the rear drop! After doing just the pass spring mod it only lowered it 1/4 on pass side. It also caused the drivers side to lower 1/4 inch. So im back at a 1/2 gape higher on the pass side. I didnt gain anything by doing the mod on only the pass side!

That's really weird that it would do that, one happens to the one side should not effect the drop on the opposite in that kind of increment.

What kind of shocks are you on?

That is odd, and many people here get this problem. For it to drop on both sides with only one modified spring mount makes me think it's something else that's resisting the drop....sway bars maybe?

I was wondering about the stock sway bars myself! if there was extra tension on the sway bar how would you adjust the bar to lower or rase 1 side?

Ive got it within a 1/4 from the other side! I took the pass rear mount out again and trimmed it. That help a little but i had to adjust the drives side rear rubber top and bottom spring mount to make is sit higher! I dont like have to do that but now i gained a 1/4! I was wondering is it possible that the sway bar is holding the suspension from dropping? If so how can i adjust the sway bar?

That was my guess but try taking the bracket off, clean it, and then reinstall. Maybe it'll free up some movement. It's a long shot but it might be worth trying it for now.
