Okay the last time I had coilovers was on my integra back in the day, it only had 2 rings, one adjustment and one to lock, with these that frankie posted, there's 3 rings, so exactly how do you make adjustments using these truetype coilovers?

Also is there a method or technique you guys use to set the rings in a proper position to get a nice even drop all around without having to go back n forth with the trial and error method?

3 rings, one is the lock collar. the other two are for adjusting. you lock one against the other and then either turn the bottom or the top depending on if you want to raise or lower.

to get an even drop, i measure from the top of the hat to the bottom mount. i think we set frankies at around 18.5 inches all around

Okay so let me clarify. To lower your car you will want to thread the lowest ring up. So for example if I wanted to drop my car exactly 1 inch then I would have to raise the lowest ring 1 inch, and then i thread the very top ring all way down until it locks in place with the lowest ring?

thread the lowest ring(lock ring) up one inch, they lock the next highest ring (2nd) up against the top ring(3rd) and then you would grab the 3rd ring with your spanner wrench and adjust it down untill the bottom locking ring (1st) touches the black strut housing

Thanks erklep. Do you know how low the drop is pre-set to from the factory when you first get your stances? Meaning installing the coilovers without adjusting anything. I just need to know how much of a drop that is.
