are the brakes on the g37 considered a BBK? (the ones that say INFINITI on the calipers).

I'm wondering because the rims i have do not clear brembos on my g35 and I would like to install the g37 ones on my g35. Not sure if they are considered a BBK or are they standard on all g37 coupe models?

If they are a BBK, how much clearance do I need in order to fit them on my g35?

Yes akebono is the g37 sport bbk, if your rims do not clear the brembo's they definatly will not clear the Akebono's.

Coz at czp sells the whole setup, you will need an adapter bracket along with the standard g37 sport stuff.

 

The Akebono's are considered a BBK for most of us non-G37s owners. It is big at 4piston/14"F and 2piston/near 14"R.

I noticed that it's off by a little bit on the conservative side, but it's a good gauge nevertheless. Just make sure you print them to size (sometimes a PDF will print to shrink/fit the paper you print on).

Does that mean if i'm running Wilwood BBK and decide to get a set of G37

coupe 19"s, they'll clear my break set up with no problems?
