drilling holes necessary to run the rear damper extensions on coilovers?

Most people I know said that drilling is required in order to run the rear damper extensions into your trunk on the g35 coupe.

But there was another person that didn't have to drill any holes and said you can run it through the hole in the trunk that was already there.

I would love to avoid drilling if possible. So for those who have the rear extensions with their coilovers, can you please tell me if there are holes in the trunk already that i can run the extensions through?

You dont have to drill any NEW holes, but you do have to bore out the existing one. It's all mentioned in the DIY for it.

You can find it here.
