Front end clunk-another possible culprit/solution

I had usual front end clunk-it came about about a year after front CRods were replaced. All was re-checked and relubed-still clunked, not as bad as completely shot rods though.
Last week I replaced stock sway bar with Eibach. I put it on softest setting.
I can definitely say that clunk is almost all gone and front end feels much tighter-less "loose" feedback through steering wheel.
Could be that worn sway bar bushings contribute to clunk? Or stiffer bar holds some other loose pieces together?
Oh, car has 123K km.
