D2 Coilovers

Hello all. I know this is a bit of a repeat thread, but i haven't seen or heard anything on g35driver recently about D2 Coilovers for the g35.

I'm wondering what kind of reliability and quality these coilovers have?

I have a 2005 G coupe fully loaded (rays, sport suspension etc.) I am planning on lowering it just a touch like seriously 1 inch or less. but I am also planning on raising it for winter. I cannot find the max raise you can do with the D2 coils? does anyone have any ideas?

I've heard mixed reviews of the D2 coils. I've never had coils before so i wouldn't expect much other then being able to adjust the height and stiffness of the ride. Other then that i love the stock suspension so will I enjoy or dislike these coilovers?

I would rather go with bc or f&f for an entry level coilover, more is knowing about them (especially about bc)

Don't waste your money on D2's. Not very good quality, and quality is what you want on our vehicles. My friends owned them on previous cars, and resold sold them not too long after installing.

what would one recomend? i hate to sound like i'm cheaping out but i just like good value. if i'm going to get junk for 1100, its not worth it to me. anything over 1100 not including install just doesn't seem worth my money at this point in time.

Your price range is up to 1100? That is a fairly good price range, you can easily get bc coils, f&f, some tein, and some stances for that price.
