rotor thickness

i recently checked my brother's g35 rotor thickness. The thickness for the front was 1.057 in and rear .614 in. He bought the car used like 2 yrs ago and the rotors came with it. According to FSM, the std thickness for front is .433 in and rear .335 in. Although his rotors are used, they are much thicker than the std ones. So i'm guessing these are aftermarket parts. But how do i know when to change the rotors?

thx guys.

The min thickness should be stamped on the rotor.

But it looks like he's good to go.

You change them when they get to the min thickness

Either on the inside of the hub (yeah, you'd have to take them off) or on the outside rim of the rotor. (you could just take the wheel off)
