2006 G35 Coupe Spacers on 19inch OEM with Tein S-Tech Drop

I just recently lowered my car with Tein S-tech. The drop is nice but the rear tires look too tucked in. I wanted to get spacers in the rear but without rubbing. Does anyone know if I should get 15mm, 20mm, or 25mm? I want it to stick out a little but without it rubbing.

I have 20mm in the front and 25mm on the rear with OEM 19s. I can tell you that you can run those size spacers with rolled fenders. I haven't dropped my car yet but with the measurements and a good eye, you can see it is going to cut into the tire bad if you don't roll the fender lip. Good luck!

On a side note, what shocks are you using? Do you have any pictures? How much of a drop did those springs get you? I can't decided whether to go coils or spring/shock combo. Thank you

Im using the OEM shocks. The springs dropped my front 1.2" and the rear .9". It looks really good but it definitely needs spacers. Here are some pics. I dont have any close up ones.

had experience with these.... has the uneven drop if you look at the back and oem shocks will worn out eventually
but yeah spacers would probably remove the uneven look

I have 25mm spacers and just swapped out my H-Techs for S-Techs hoping for a more drastic drop. I think the front went down more and the rear looks the same. Not impressed. May have to go the coilover route soon.

When I bought my G, it was already dropped on Tein S-techs and the owner told me that he cut the rear springs a little to get a more even drop.

In for close up pics of a before and after. I have an OB 05 so I basically look like you. I'm curious to see if I can notice any difference. At one point I was on board for spacers but recently I haven't really been sure if they'd make much of a difference, or if I'd even like the look. I've seen WAY to many pics of people with tires sticking out way to far for my liking as well, so I've kind of soured on the idea. I'd definitly be interested in as many pics as possible though, from a couple different angles as well.

Sort through this thread and you will see numerous set ups with spacers and powdercoating and all that good shabazz.

UPDATE:

I'm running 20mm front, 25mm rear and I recently installed 350z S-techs. No rubbing at all! Need to roll the rear fenders and do the spring mount mod.

^^^ So why roll the fenders if it isn't rubbing?
