Lowering question?

I have an 05 Sedan 6MT and was thinking of lowering my car. I was thinking of the Tein H Tech springs as I heard they were good. Do I need to get shocks as well? My friend said his Kyb gr2's are good. I have the factory sports suspension right now. Any thought? Thanks.

If you already have the sport suspension I don't think there is any need to get shocks. Especially since you won't be lowering it that much with the H springs. I went with Tein S techs on my last car ('02 Audi A4 with sport package). It was about a 2" drop and the stock shocks held up fine for the 50k miles I had the spring, 100k miles total.

Htechs are barely anydrop... No need for shocks.
Look into H&Rs or eibach prokit if u want noticeable decent drop.

Wait a couple of weeks for the springs to settle then get an alignment.
