Diagnosis on this brake noise?

Hi people

The car is a 2004 coupe. This brake squeal occurs during slow movement braking. Any suggestions on what's causing the noise and how to go about eliminating it? i am aware that some of the earlier models do have some brake issues...any help is appreciated!

Maybe it'd help to apply some grease between shim and pad?

That's a start. Might be time to change out your pads. How old are they and what brand?

I believe they are OEMs. Honestly, I have no clue how old are they since I just got the car back in May. The reason why I haven't got it checked out is because most of the time it's not even there, only when coming to a full stop.

It's the g35 whistle, so when you stop everyone can turn and look at the sexy g.
Jk, best bet is to get new/better brake pads
