Stuck need help
So i got bit by the mod bug and i have soooo much things i want to get and right now its coilovers. Ive been hooked on Tein HKS and BC. My g is pretty much a daily driver but i still want performance in the coilovers. Ive read the the tein flex is really stiff. Does that mean the ride is ruff and bouncy? I was thinking about the Tein CS but idk how well performance wise itll do for me. ANd i question about the spring rates the higher means? and the lower means? So pretty much i havent really bbought much so my budget is somewhat open. If you guys do have those coilover or have any experience with those i would greatly appreciate your input and any other recommendation would be great. thanks
Well all I can speak for is what I have, which are BC racing coils. Higher spring rates mean stiffer ride with less body roll in the turns, but sacrificing comfort by giving a rougher ride. It's really the damping in the strut that can make a setup "bouncy." In my opinion, for a daily driven ride, I'm more than happy with my BC racing coils for about $1K. A nice HKS or Tein setup would run at least 6-800 more, and I'm not sure you'd get any added performance out of them. I've set the damping on my BCs to the middle range and it honestly rides just like the OEM sport suspension minus a significant amount of body roll.
That's just my perspective though...hope that helps.

From what ive heard and my older brothers and uncles tein has a good rep with quality and very good built products. so when i was searching i came across the BC and they are a pretty good price compared to the tein or the HKS. but i wasnt too sure because i never did follow up on BC but read some great reviews and a lot of people do have it and suggest it for something for low cost.
Is your g a daily drive and have you taken it to the tracks? if so how does the BC react?

^agreed. There's alot of info/debate out there if you're willing to sort through it. My car is daily driven and it will likely never see any track time. For me, there's no sense in spending 2k on a coilover setup that is never going to see track use. I just wanted something that was comfortable, and adjustable to height and damping. The BCs have suited me 100% in that regard.
