Does anyone know the weights off oem rotors brembo and non brembo??????
as at least we can compare and decide whether these will be worth the money. The guy who did the diy guide on my350z weighed the akebonos as i think 27lbs front and 17 rear.
czp appears to have released their version and uses dba discs. does anyone have experience with dba rotors on a track setup??? has anyone noticed considerable heat dissipation from them?

I bought some DBA rotors from a member who tracked them and he loved the way they performed. Haven't tracked my car so I can't comment from personal experience.

OEM brembo front rotor weight is around 21-lbs, rears are around 17.5-lbs. I would suspect that the non-brembo rotors would a bit less due to being smaller in both diameter and width and I would bet the OEM brembo rotors have a denser composition.

Racingbrake.com has 2pc rotors for the brembo cars that weigh 15-lbs front/16-lbs rear.

This thread is regarding Akebono brakes (bigger and heavier than brembo)

The OEM fronts weigh 30lbs... 2-piece range from 19-23...

I'm a little disappointed in CZP's pricing - same dba can be found for 604 shipped (Google search) -

I'm still waiting to see how the Girodisk shake out with TH Motorsports... so far those seem like best option for me.
