Adjusting rear bccoilovers
Got my coils installed about 3 weeks ago and after settling the rear is tucking while the front has about 1-1 1/2 finger gap. I want to raise the rears up but the instructions are the worst engrish I have ever seen. Ive searched here but nothing definitive is listed. Ive also used this thread http://myg37.com/forums/brakes-and-s...-about-it.html
The question I have is for the rear do I just loosen the top ring on the spring then turn the lower one. In the thread listed above I see him doing something with the strut also. So what do I need to do exactly to raise the car about half an inch in the rear.
Sorry coilover noob here

Don't worry...I was as lost as you when I first installed mine. I also agree that the instructions on rear height adjustment are pretty useless.
From what I remember, the process you describe is accurate. Your ride height will be determined by adjusting on the spring perch, not on the shock itself. My advice is only that if you lengthen the spring perch by a half inch (raise ride height by a half inch) that you also lengthen the shock by the same amount.
