I know this sounds like a stupid Q since you would think Iforged wheels should clear most BBK's. Anyways I have the chance to get a sweet deal on some 6piston 14in Stoptech and I need new brakes anyways so this is a perfect chance. Anyways the reason I ask this is bc when my rims were being made, I was asked if I ever planned on upgrading to BBK, I for some reason told them no. Anyways I read and search, even read some ppl putting factory 19's with some Stoptechs and I wanna be sure before I order some. I did print out this template from the Stoptech website that I havent tried on my rims yet, also I plan on trying my rims on my buddies car that has a set of 6piston Rotora.

My rims: IForged Swift 20x9.5...per my rim sheet, 6.5 inner width and 3in outer width. Then the rears are 20x10.5, 6in inner width and 4.5 outer width with offsets unknown. Thanks for anykind of help ppl!!!

If you dont have anything help to add, dont post with the smartazz remarks. This is why U always hear of ppl hating on this board bc you always got ppl that like to post smartazz remarks rather than post something that maybe helpful. Yes I havent tried the templete but what if I did and it did/didnt work, I would feel alot better hearing from ppl that had went through this and say something like "yea that template thing does/doesnt really work" or "yea my Iforged rims did/didnt clear"

Now Im sure you will go ahead and post another remark, pls PM me on it, I would like to keep on the topic here.

 

His post was very much on topic. You stated you have the template, but haven't used it. You should use the template before starting a new thread, you have all the "tools" you need to be able to answer your own question.

 

smartazz? look, missy, change your tampon, then go out to your car and try the template. that's why stoptech made it. if it doesn't work then you have your answer.

if using a template is too complicated for you then test fit the wheel over your friend's brake kit.

this isn't rocket science. stop being lazy!

Like I said, if anyone has gone through this with Stophtechs template or IForged wheels w/ BBK, any info would help. Others, if you dont mind, just PM me.
