03 G35 Sedan Brake Pads w/VDC
03 G35 Sedan Brake Pads w/VDC
All of my local auto parts stores only carry the Brembo pads or the non Vehicle Dynamic Control pads for my 2003 G35 Sedan. Why do they specify no VDC? Is there really a difference? I know a lot of people have suffered from the VDC & check engine lights coming on after a brake pad replacement. Could it be that the non-VDC pads are causing that problem?
Additionally, I was poor and could only replace my rear pads ~7k miles ago. Is it really necessary for me to replace them all at once or is that just something mechanics say to increase cash flow? Thanks in advance.

03 sedans only came one way. I have not seen a non VDC equipped sedan. I doubt you can get them that way
You really should be buying pads from the dealer for the 03 sedan anyway.

Thanks for the quick reply. It would make sense to me that the manual transmission sedans do not come with VDC, hence the option.
Why do you prefer the dealer provided pads? They cost twice as much and leave incredible amounts of brake dust. I hate needing to clean my wheels every other day.
