camber issues?... rear end dancing and stepping out over bumps
camber issues?... rear end dancing and stepping out over bumps
I just got my car aligned recently after I got both front lower control arms replaced. Normally I would take it to either the dealership or a 'more upscale' place, but i had to go to this kindof crappy shop and have them do it. (long story)
anyway, ever since I got the alignment, my back end feels like it dances and sways over certain types of bumps. The handling doesn't seem as crisp either to me.
My theory is that my old alignment bowed the tires out to the sport stance (negative camber.. i think?) so it rides on the inner part of the tires. The inside of both my tires are heavily worn, and the outside look almost new. So could that tire place have straightened them out when they did the alignment, making my tires flat on the ground now, with horribly uneven wear? Would that make the rear end 'dance'?
