Is this a good deal? Your opinions please
Looking to do the Z/G drop for my 03 sedan (doggy), which I understand it to have unrevised springs, yada yada.
A member is selling his whole factory suspension set up from an 04/05 Brembo coupe (front struts, rear shocks and all springs). Suppose to have 45K miles prior to removing.
I have a FedEx account and can have them shipped for $35 to $40. He'll sell the complete set for $100.
I still need to score a set of front revised springs from a 350Z, but do you think this is a good start?
Thanks in advance,
rob.g

JMO - It's an okay price for a full coupe susp, but that's not what you need, right? All you're really getting are the rears and $140 is not a great price for just that and you're unlikely to be able to unload the fronts for any $$. IIWY I'd keep looking, Rob. BTW all Z fronts are the same (thru 08??), no revised/unrevised.

So I cannot use the front struts and just replace the springs w/ ones from a Z? I thought putting Z springs on my struts would cause them to prematurely wear. It's been a while since I read all the data about revised/unrevised Z/G stuff. Maybe I need to go back and freshen up on it.
I know you know how to find stuff, but one trick you might employ is to look thru CL, Kijiji, Autotrader, etc. for coupes and Z's with aftermarket suspension; often the owners have their old springs/struts lying around and are happy to get rid of them cheap. And of course haunt the Marketplace here and on my350.

Thanks again. Yeah, I stumbled up on these in the marketplace and before they got away (or taking a bunch of time researching), thought I'd pick the professional's brains. Still thinking and negotiating.
