Circular grinding mark on front rotors
Circular grinding mark on front rotors
i started noticing this circular marks, very slight grinds, on the both front rotors after SPC A-arm with SHIMS installation. These shims and arms were installed on g35 coupe and it had no problems.
Both the rotors have exact same marks in the same place so i'm going to guess it's from the the shims pushing out the top of the rotors for more positive camber. i do hear some grinding sound only when i apply brake. Never happened before installation.
Both the grinding marks are located where the brake pads contact the rotors.
Does anyone have this problem?
The mark looks like the one in the pic i attached. But it's very slight grind and little wider than the pic but noticeable.

If the "cover" is rubbing the rotor then i should hear the griding sound when not applied brake...
