cant get endlink off

everytime i try and take the endlink off(just the lower mount) i cant. i can get the bolt off no problem. but i cant get the endlink itself to come off the lower arm (like if i was trying to remove it so the lca would drop down) i have beat it with a rubber mallet but it wont budge. am i doing something wrong?

Trying jacking up the lower control arm to relieve the tension while you are hitting the endlink. Alternatively, you can also try jacking up the opposing side arm to relieve pressure on the sway bar, which can also help it to pop out easier. Hope this helps.

Yeh jacking it up for tension usually works. Let us know how it goes!

do you have the entire front on stands? if you only have one side up the sway will push on it and you will never get it out

Worst case scenario you just unbolt the front sway bar to completely relieve tension on the endlink...only adds about 20 mins and can save you from a big headache.
