Arrow What Brake/Rotor Setup Are You Using>???

Hi Guys,

Its time to get new brakes on the G Sedan. Ive had the car since April of 2009 and bought it from Carmax so I'm pretty sure they are OEM's on her. I dont know when they were replaced last so Im going to get new brakes and rotors all the way around the car. Ive read some threads debating Slotted vs Drilled and Ive determined that Slotted will be better for daily driving- though I read some ppl think they wear out your pads faster. The pads I get will probrably be Ceramic for less brake dust.

So... what are you guys running???? Are there any brands to shy away from?? Any info is much appreciated!!!

Oem rotors and pads here. Already replaced them once. Next time, I'll do oem again.

On a daily driver....you won't notice a difference between plain, slotted or drilled. Get whatever you want. Now if you are autoxing or road tracking....different story. Get solid plain rotors for that. Slotted rotors are good, but i prefer solid rotors for the extra mass for heat dissipation.

You might get less dusting with the ceramic pads, but you stopping will suffer. The stock 05-06 pads are very good and do not dust as much as 03-04 pads did.

Oem rotors and PBR ceramic pads. Good for just daily driving and very little brake dust if any at all.

Centric rotors + hawk HPS pads + Goodridge stainless line.
I have very little dust (as little as OEM) and have no noise, etc.
