YOUR INPUT IS NEEDED: Help understanding Spring Rate and Type and Dampening

I was reading some general info on Spring types: Linear or Progressive and it seems that having shocks with dampening plays a big role in how everything comes together and responds! And so I wanted to know what type of springs to run, what spring rate to get and what setting is best to compliment each other!

I wanted to know what are the supposed effects on these different setups! There's alot of probabilities since there are 3 factors being associated together but it would be nice to get some kind of info in regards to these factors in order to maximize the potential of the suspension you are putting in as well as educate others about which springs to get and what to set your dampening at, if applicable!

Your help is much appreciated!

One of the best reads I've found on suspension info for the G's and Z's.
