Handling upgrades !
Ive done some searching... seems like there are many opinions out there..
Ive been looking at Sway Bars and Strut Towers. Im looking for something that will not affect the ride quality, but when I want to have some fun will handle much better. Reduce roll and such.
Ive got a few questions.
1. How much benefit comes from a strut tower? seems like its straight up bolt on but some say it wont do any good unless you have a mount style like the 350z
2. what sway bars will not affect the stock steering qualities ?
3. would getting front and rear sway bars along with a strut tower be pointless ?
Thanks guys !

Get sway bars, chassis braces too.
I have hotchkis front and rear on track setting.
And full GT Spec chassis braces.
didn't get strut bars yet but I may in the future.
Also changed out all my bushings to poly urethane bushings.

The trouble all except a strut brace will effect the ride quality, you cannot expect to improve the handling without stiffening up either the springs and dampers, or the sway bars, they will both improve the handling characteristics, but will also make the ride harder.
Sways alone will be the biggest change...save your money and just get the progress sway bars, they come with bushings too.

I've been quite happy with sways + Tokico D-spec adjustable shock upgrade on my car. Quicker response and less body roll, but stock ride height to deal with driveways, speed bumps and such, and still a decent ride. Also not as expensive as coils.
Ive heard a lot of good things about the stillen sway bars.. any thoughts ?
Also, some sway bars are hollow.. what is the difference between hollow and not besides strength ?

If you look around there is a thread with some good info, there is really some back and forth on how great of a difference it is. Stillen has good reviews though.
