Suspension inquiry, what to get?

This is slightly a cross-post, but I didn't get an answer in the "What mods should I get" thread, so I figured I may be able get some help over here. I have some money for mods, and was wanting to get some performance mods, but also lower my ride a little bit. Here's a pic of my car:
https://g35driver.com/forums/picture...-new-rims.html

Since this pic I have tinted the windows. As mentioned, I want to lower the car, but not sure if I want to spring for coilovers (no pun intended). I was thinking about some Eibach Pro's, but was worried about premature tire wear from improper toe/camber.

Other than adjustability, is there any reason I should consider the coilovers? In addition to coilovers or springs, what else will need to purchased so that I don't go through tires like underwear? What brands do recommend, and what are the major differences between coilovers?

Thanks in advance, I know this is a pretty noob question.

There are a lot of things to consider...

Are you wanting performance out of it or looks...

If you are going to lower it about an inch or so I would at min get rear camber arms and toe bolts which can be found for about $150 or so.

Primarily looks, but if I'm spending money I'd like to get some handling benefits from it. What am i supposed to be looking for when choosing between coilovers? They all seem very similar lol

i have a couple different options for sale actually that would all work on your car.

the struts/shocks are d-specs (dampening adjustable)

then for springs i have...

df210s
s-techs
oem z springs

if you are interested in any of those let me know

Well you can go crazy spending money on suspension but unless you plan on tracking it, many of the difference and features on the coils will not be utilized by the average driver.

I would look at some pics of lowered G's but the df210's or s-techs are both nice springs.

You really need to search, you don't seem to have the basics down even to be asking for opinions on what to get. There are many different options of springs/coils/air suspensions and you need to do research before asking for opinions.

I know that I don't want air suspension. I want my car to be lower so that the wheels look better. I know springs are a "one and done" type of thing, whereas coilovers are adjustable, and provide better handling. I don't know what to look to distinguish Coilover A from Coilover B, however.

I am torn if the $600 price difference between springs and coils is worth it for a non-tracked car

to me the only reason to really need coilovers other than to track the car. is to slam the car. other than that. i dont see a point

The difference between coils x and coil y. Is adjustably from dampening to rebound to external reservoirs etc... You can also order then in custom spring rates and have lots of adjustment.

How far are you trying to drop? That is probably the biggest question, look around at different threads and find a height that you want your car to be at. Also with coils you get a larger increase in handling which is definitely noticeable. I had zhtechs before and I wish I didn't waste my time and money and just went for coils. Almost everyone who goes from springs to coils says something similar as well, just something to think about...

Probably only an inch. What coils are you currently running?
