Camber Kit Questions!
Camber Kit Questions!
I have an 04 coupe w/Brembo. I just lowered the car on H&R Street Performance coilovers. Approximately 1.2" in back and 1.5" in front. Wheels are 19x8" in front with +20mm offset and 19x9.5" in back with +20mm offset. For tires, I'm running 235/35/19 in front (will be getting 245s soon) and 275/35/19 in back. Rear fenders are also rolled with a very slight flare.
Basically, I've been looking around at camber kits. I'd like to bring camber back closer to factory spec to save tires during normal driving while still maintaining an aggressive stance without using spacers, if possible. However, I still want the ability to run more negative camber if I decide to try AutoX or do any real type of performance driving.
I've seen Ichiba, Eibach Pro-Align, Stillen, etc. They range in price between $400 (F+R) for the Ichiba to over $1k for the Stillen. Also, Eibach offers a bolts only kit for the rear ($60) and claim they can adjust +/-3 degrees whereas their rear arms kit ($200) will go +/-4 degrees. Does that make sense? Most other kits I've seen have rear arms and are more expensive.
Anyone used the kits or have experience with them? I'd love to spend $400 on the Ichiba kit and be done with it, but I also don't want a piece of crap kit, either. The Eibach looks like a good compromise, but only allows for -1.5 degrees in the front. That doesn't seem to help much if I want performance... So, here I am.
