Def needs a sticky. Would love to see some of the Bilstein owners review and I think there are only one or two. Was considering the PSS10's.

The comments on for the stance crowd vs for the track vs for the daily are extremely helpful.

Massive thumbs up on this thread.

I heard the Bilstein PSS9's are really good for daily driving. Smoother than the Impul Ohlins, but taking to the track is a different story. Impul Ohlins > PSS9

Stickied and added to the FAQ Master Threads.

Pics of sedans and coupes on some of these would help to get an actual visual of the drop. Great thread

Edit: There are some here that you guys can get info off of

Posted that link already

Also as far as pics with drops go, it would be helpful but it varies setup to setup I'd say. Some people have it low, some high, regardless...adding pics.

Thanks Tian

There is a compilation of Sedan suspensions stickied in the Sedan section, but I don't think their is for coupe.

Crap, I don't think I have any pics with my HKS coilovers. Didn't have em for that long and didn't really drop em lower than the Ohlins.

I gotta take pics of my Stance with 19's on and then I'll update. I have pics of some of my setups with different wheel sizes.

*edit: I do have pics of the HKS, but as I remember I didn't lower it, just slapped them on according to what Edgar had on his coupe before we swapped coilovers.

I had heard that as well. I don't think I'd be looking to track much if at all but might do some shall we say spirited driving and take some corners quicker.

They're cheaper than the Ohlins as well (new run about 1500 or 1600 last I looked) I think.

hi OP,
How much were you able to have less time of bottoming out with 14/8k springs than 12/5k?
I have 12/5k with spc arms on my 350z. My arms hit the wheel well easily even though i'm not that low. thinking of getting 14k front and staying 5k rear.

Honestly I noticed a slight difference, wasn't too much, but then again I didn't ride with the 12/5 for that long before I switched it out to the 14/8. I did notice that keep thing dampening a few clicks below max stiff helped a lot. I used to have max stiffness but after I changed that, it would be better for those quick multiple bumps.

hm...i kinda want to go 15/5 but i'm afraid that stiff springs would over control the dampening and wear them out quicker..

Rule of thumb is to stick to no higher or lower than 3kg than the original spring rate. Any higher or lower than that will require revalving.

I had the 12/5 on the stance coilovers and recently got 14/7. Honestly the difference isn't night and day, but theres a slight difference. I also put the fronts a few clicks back, and the rear a click back. I want to try a click back in the fronts and maybe 2 more in the rear, but im too lazy to pull out the whole damn thing lol. I REALLY needa install those extenders -_-
