Are you painting or powdercoating ? If you are sending them to Mike the Powder Coater, he can do almost anything. If you want them to pop, I would go with a candy red, chrome, or even green looks good. If you want to play it safe, do a gunmetal metallic or a black pearl with red lettering.

how much does mike the powder coater usually charge? i was planning to powder coat them.

As far as the suggestions go, i like the:
candy red, black lettering (seems like a standard color to most bbks)
blue-purple, white lettering (seems to match more with my lugnuts)
yellow, black lettering (imagined to look pretty sick )

one of my friends also mentioned like a navy blue with some metallic with white lettering.

Price depends on shipping and color choices, it is pretty cheap. He is the main go to guy on the myg37 forums. He is the only one that completely disassembles the caliper before powder coating. The high heat can cause the piston seals to fail if not done. Then he properly reseals them and warranties all his work. He has done more than 50 sets of Akebono calipers and everyone has great things to say. Plus not many powder coaters can do the custom Akebono lettering.

Check out his website and send him an email. He will tell you exact cost and turn around time.

Also if you email him and ask, he is always willing to mail out color samples.

Whatever color he chooses, he needs to have Mike powdercoat them. Period.
