Even without the brembo logo, it is still the brembo color. Just like you would not paint them the Endless teal green color. Certian companies are associated with certian colors, if you use that color (even without the logo) it will be assumed you are trying to pass off your product as theirs.

Like if you take a regualr mustang and paint it cameleon to look like a rare Mystic Cobra, everyone in the mustang community will laugh at you.

Do you mask off and powdercoat the entire caliper or do you fully disassemble the caliper, powdercoat, then reassemble?

I vote for yellow..you need a color that really pops with all the grey going on. I think yellow would look sick.

so I decided to pick the color yellow. Am about to order the whole kit:

-Front+Rear Calipers
-Stoptech Rotors
-Hawk Ceramic Pads
-SS Lines
-Motul Brake Fluid

All for $1819 shipped. Is that price fair?

My friend sells his own brackets and said he got me on the it so I'm not worried about the brackets.

I'm just want to be sure I am buying the right BBK. I just hope the stopping power of the Akebonos are at least the same as the Brembos as I heard some bad news about the Akebonos.

^ stopping power will really depend on the pads you're getting. An OEM set-up with fairly aggressive pads will out-brake a BBK with street pads, the BBK shines in terms of thermal capacity.

I think silver, or the same color as your ride. Good luck!

Who are you buying them from? You don't need the Motul fluid unless you plan to track it. I heard Hawks squeek a lot? But then again, my oem pads have been extra squeeky lately anyway. Good rotors and excellent brakes! Price seems about right for lines and fluid included.

I am getting the whole thing from CZP.
I heard the Akebonos in general squeak a lot over time but im going hawks ceramic because of the dust. my wheels get all covered in brake dust within a week and i hate cleaning it off so often
But would it be better to have the fluid regardless since im getting it as a package? i think its only around like a 30$ difference...not sure

My OEM pads for the Akebono's haven't squeaked since day one, and i've had them on for about 18k miles now.

You'll be fine with either fluid for daily driving. Generally speaking, higher temp fluid will need to be replaced more often, but i think the Motul is exempt from that rule.
