Mild Suspension advice
Hey im looking to improve my 05 sedan suspension but not that much. i rode with someone in his g35 coupe dropped about 1.5-2 inches i think and i did not like the ride. to harsh for my taste
but id like to just lower my cars apperence about a .7 - 1 inch. and improve roll a touch also. but try to keep my stock ride quality if that possible. i find it very comfortable.
I was thinking pro kit springs and g35 sport shocks.. but i get mixed results about the sport shocks.
i dont wanna spend over 600 bux any advise ???

^ those Z springs will be super bouncy and he might not like it. He doesn't like a coupe lowered. I went that route first, G coupe springs then Z springs and then a mix of both and didn't like any of it.
Maybe if you tell us what the coupe was running.
a pro kit is $100-200. which leaves you with $400 to spend, i have no idea where you can get strut/shocks for that little, unless used. I would put on the pro kit just by itself to see if you like it and then later move on to tokico struts.
if you were considering getting sport shocks, i would consider just using OEM for now. I dont think there is too much difference.

I'm new to the site, but I've been reading about sedan suspension non-stop. Tein H-Tech have a mild drop and a lot of people seem to be happy with them. From what I've read, it doesn't throw your camber off too bad. If you drive the x (AWD) sedan then the drop will be a tad more.
well at the moment i have stock 17's i plan to get 18 inch 6 spoke but after the suspension. how cheap are the z springs is it cheaper. then pro kit ??. so noone recommends shocks ? i don't have to stay with in 600 bux but id like too.
z springs normally sell for as low as $50 or as high as $100

Z or G35 coupe springs are the best bang for the buck. You can pick them up for next to nothing used on here or on the Z forums. If you have the sport suspension, you can keep your struts/shocks and swap in unrevised Z springs since our sport suspension has the same spring rates. It will drop your car about 1-1.5" all around, the ride or "harshness" will be the same...just lower.
Personally I have Z springs up front and unrevised G35 coupe springs in the back to even out the car better. Car should have come like this from the factory.

Z S-Techs and Z D-Specs. You'll have a ride with more feel than a stock G, but much softer and smoother than a stock IS350, with much better performance to boot. For what it's worth, with sway bars, your car will handle and ride better with this set-up than over 90% of coilovers out there actually offer.

It didn't seem to drop my sedan that much. I'd think it was the higher spring rate that might have had something to do with it, but it might also be because I was coming from being slammed on the ground with coilovers before. Either way, there's a good gap between the tires and the fender, and it's really a very mild drop.
