Bushings and camber questions please help!
My front bushings on upper and lower control arms are gone, so I was wondering how much you guys payed to install new ones. I'm getting a quote of about 300 for labor. I found a guy on here who's selling some polyurethane ones. Has anyone bought them? Some feedback on that would be great!
Also due to the bushings I can't get an alignment and my **** is all outta sorts. I think i get like 5k miles out of a tire so I was getting used ones while doing some research and they're going in about a month or two =\
Just bought the car about 4 months ago and it has been lowered with no camber kit on it. So i'm looking at some polyurethane bushings, an Eibach pro alignment camber kit, and obviously an alignment to stop eating tires like candy. Anything else i should be looking at?
Thoughts and suggestions please and thanks =]
*Edit*
Would the spc camber kit do the same thing as the eibach pro alignment kit?? Ebay has the spc for 398 with free shipping and eibach has theirs for 433 with 33 dollars shipping.

It isn't always better to buy the cheapest part. Does the Eibach camber kit adjust for positive camber? Not all of them do. SPC and SPL kits will work but are obviously more expensive.
Yes the Eibach adjusts to +3.5 i believe. The spc kit is actually cheaper than the eibach. I wasn't asking for something cheap just what will do the same thing as the most expensive camber.
Did you check out the threads that were stickied? Alot of good info on those?
$300 is pretty pricey, but I guess it's a reasonable price for what a normal shop would charge. A specialty shop would charge around half that. I got quoted $160 for the compression rod bushing and the front LCA bushing intall. Doing it yourself would save you a good amount of $$ but it's sort of time consuming.

I went to a performance shop as well. Assuming I provide the bushings they quoted me at $480 for the bushing labor and an alignment. the infiniti dealer quoted me at $525 including the oem bushings. I may as well take it there for that price. But bc it's lowered on springs the specialty shop is telling me the dealer can't align it correctly bc they only know factory specs. So idk what to do, it seems none of the shops around here are experienced to do this job in less time.
If anyone here in Florida knows a place I can get this done for considerably less, but with competency plz let me know. I'll drive a few hours to save one or two hundred bux.

Are your bushings that bad that they cant even do an alignment on it?
If I was you, get the front and rear camber kits first. Get those installed and get an alignment. See how far off the specs are, then decide if you need to do your bushings.
That statement doesnt make any sense at all. So only that shop knows what the specs are for a lowered car? Its the same specs! Lowered or not the key is more or less to get it close to OEM spec as possible.

Yes, he implied that a dealer doesn't know how to align a lowered car beyond stock. I assumed the spec for the 2003 is what was causing the tire wear?
so should I go eibach pro alignment kit, or spc? Eibach is a little more expensive
get the whiteline bushings. I got them for the front control arms cuz my shock mount bushings were toast in both of them. Night and day difference in how the car feels now. My friend had a 12 ton press in his basement so it cost me nothing more than pizza and beer to get them installed
doing the rears in a couple weeks just as a preventive maintenance aspect
