Dropping my G35

I apologize in advance if im missing threads already addressing this, but i couldnt find anything from just searching it.

Im interested in dropping my G about an inch or half inch.
If i were to do so, would i need to buy new springs? Or is the stock suspension at all adjustable?

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance!

Im not sure what kind of search you performed, but the answer is all over the place.

The stock suspension is not height adjustable. You will need lowering springs, shocks/struts, and front and rear camber arms (+ toe bolts) if you want your tires to last.

You can accomplish that a bunch of ways. You could go with drop springs (with stock shocks/struts or upgraded shocks/struts), or coilovers. Either way with that goal in mind you might want to think about front and rear camber kits. I just did Tein S tech springs with new Tokico HP shocks/struts with SPC front and rear camber kits. This afternoon at the alignment shop I needed the added adjustment on both of them to get back to spec. Either way you choose to go with the suspension you should think about quality front and rear camber kits. Who knows, later on down the road you might want more of a drop and you will already have the kits installed for the alignment.

Thanks for the info.

Im still considering what upgrades to do first, but that sounds a bit pricey. Guess it wouldnt be worth spending that much just to lower my car an inch, at this point at least. Maybe down the road that'll be something i do.
