Im new & I don't know what I need or want

Hello everyone !!!

Im on the hunt for a G35. Just waiting for the right deal to come around you know? I do plan on dumping some money into it !!! Well heres the thing. Suspension wise I have no idea what I want or need. Ive done some researching before posting this and I have learned alittle bit more. I really want to drop my future G35 on staggered 20 inch wheels. Possible? I want to put the front and rear fenders right even with the tire. Ive learned that alot of it has to do with the offset of the wheels. So any extra help on what offset and/or backspacing would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

Welcome...19" wheels are the standard and 20's are very common. There is a thread dedicated to wheel fitment (search threads by Shanesg) and a good set of coliovers will take care of the rest.

On an unrelated note...(based on the screen name) is it possible that the forum has its 3rd sXe member???

Straight Edge for life, it is about refraining from alcohol, drugs, tobacco and promiscuous sex.

Ive done my research on coilovers. Damn those things can get expensive. Any advice on which kind are good but still cheaper. I dont care about brands, just care about quality. I know somethings quality and price goes hand and foot but not all the time.

To answer your question with a mild drop, 20x9.5F and 20x10.5R with about a +15 to +18 offset all around with 245F and 275r tires will fit nice with average camber settings they will require a rear fender roll though. If you want really aggressive stance go to the picture share section and a huge thread on wheel fitment with lots of tire specs so you can decide what is right for you.
