Glad to hear you resolved your problem. I also have an 04x with 190K and had to replace the compression rod bushings several times along with the wheel bearings. I was curious if you like the ride with the KYB struts and are you running the 05 kyb application on the 04? I am currently running the BC coils but need to raise the vehicle back up to stock height for the winter.

The KYBs have been good, ride-wise. They seem about the same as OEM. Yes, they are the '05 units. What part of the country are you in? Glad to see an 'X still going at 190K. Any major problems?

I have an 04 X with 115K and about 20K of that has been boosted and it runs great! Just had to do my front driver's side wheel bearing a few month ago so I'm bracing for the rest. Should be fun, .

Thanks for the info, I'm in Northeast Pa. No major problems, My car has experienced just about every minor problem discussed on this forum. I used to drive alot of hwy miles and the bc's were nice, but now I'm local and the roads are horrible need to get back to oem ride. Oh yeah! and now I got the rust on the doors, should be under warranty, just have to find time to get it to the dealer.
