Powertrix Coilovers: anyone using them?

A buddy of mine with a 300z pointed me to these guys. They seem pretty well reviewed on the 300's. I can't seem to find any reviews for G35's or 350z's. I was wondering if anyone has used them and how they like them? They offer some decently priced coilover systems and seem pretty straight forward.

thanks!

Thanks, I've seen that post too but pretty much the same question I had, unanswered. I never heard of them either until about a week ago.

Is there anyone else who has these on their G. I'm hoping to hear more feedback before I buy them.

I did actually end up getting them. I do like them for the price and with the options its a good deal. I've had them on for a year now and they've not given me any issues. I will say that just last week i finally added a much needed camber kit and got my alignment done. I only did the rear as my camber was waaaay off. The install wasn't too bad just don't forget the little paper like piece from your stock shocks. Anyway the company was very easy to deal with. I got in on a group buy as i was in no rush to get them. Also i cannot figure out if there is a way to adjust the rear shocks with out removing them as i found no access panels and its solid metal in the trunk. No easy way to adjust from what i can tell but i could be wrong. Let me know if you have more questions.

Powertrix is a great company. One of the employees here has been using them for years and speaks really highly of their coilovers, and another employee here had them on his RX8 before he sold it.

When I road in both cars they seemed pretty nice and seeing them up close they're pretty high quality.

How is the ride? I was a little concerned that they will be stiffer than coils I've had in the past since the spring rate seems a little high.

Well I've only ridden on them in a Z32 and an RX8, but they seemed just fine. Both cars had their dampers set on full soft and I wasn't bothered by the ride quality at all. I like the suspension to be a bit stiffer though so I mean if you're concerned with the ride quality that may be something to consider.

Quality on the coilovers is pretty comparable to Stance when looking at them up close.

@Knight108, how is the ride? Is the ride more or less stiff than you would have expected?

Charles at Powertrix installed my coilovers and fitted the rear with extenders so that I can adjust the damping from inside the cabin. Check this out.
