From: Pothole Central and still ridin slammed...Boston
just to be clear on a few things...
- OEM Brembo vs. OEM non-Brembo; initial panic stops, no big difference. brake fade resistance & pedal feedback HUGE difference. Bembo's are NOT just for looks.
- OEM Brembo Vs. OEM Akebono; Rotors alone on Ake's weigh 10lbs more at each corner, plus a lot less pad and rotor options. i will admit the larger Ake's DO look nicer customized.

5 350z 17s that clear brembos. with 5 new tires with under 200 miles on them for $1000 bux... Hes exact words were, I dont want them going to no douche bag, I want u to take them. So it wouldve been stupid of me not to take them for 1000
but if u get lucky and find a set, they should go anywhere btwn 12-1500 for a clean set. lol

Wow look at all the people talking out their asses about how the oem brembos suck and that akebono's are great. How many of you people read the article about the testing of track use on akebonos on the 370z? Those didn't perform well in their stock configuration either.
Everyone knows if you want track use you are going to want to go with a true bbk. But as far as daily driving and some spirited driving you are going to be fine with the oem brembos or akebonos.

I got them from a very close friend that was parting out his sedan. And he had the rebuild kit from brembo, and rebuilt all 4 calipers. New rotors, 2nd set of hawk or brembo pads he gave me.
