How much to upgrade to Brembo brakes?

I have an AT coupe, and want to upgrade to Brembo brakes. Anyone know how much this would cost?

Are you talking about the OEM Brembos? if you are its not a worthwhile mod and I wouldn’t call it a upgrade they are no better than the regular OEM brakes

If you do want to upgrade go with a BBK

from everything ive looked up about upgrading, the front and rear oems brembos cost about 1k for a used set + labor. i think thats just for the calipers, not including rotors and pads. but it depends on who you buy it from.

Bro its not worth it if you're doing it for looks. Just paint them gold. I painted mine gold and added infiniti decal to it and it looks really good. They dont stand out very much, look clean, and the gold is very close to brembo gold.

the g37 akebono brakes do look better but they will cost more cause you need special brackets for the fronts to make them fit.

The thing about the G37 Brakes is you need to change your spare from 17" to 18" to clear the breaks.

Hey now don’t judge me, other people agree with me the only good part about the oem Brembos is the fact that they do look cool but thats all

I don’t post much on forums because I have better things to do, and you get attacked for your opinions. I just come on here when I’m board

And the fact that I’m from Wisconsin... car people are car people, doesn't matter where you are from...

*go for the G37 brakes*

LOL, this guy does not know what he is talking about. Brembo's are much better than the regular OEM brakes.

just to be clear on a few things...

- OEM Brembo vs. OEM non-Brembo; initial panic stops, no big difference. brake fade resistance & pedal feedback HUGE difference. Bembo's are NOT just for looks.

- OEM Brembo Vs. OEM Akebono; Rotors alone on Ake's weigh 10lbs more at each corner, plus a lot less pad and rotor options. i will admit the larger Ake's DO look nicer customized.

lmfao Like

I did the brembo upgrades, from my 06 2pot brakes, and highway feel is amazing compared to stock, and once they warm up, they grip much harder.

Painting the crusting white calipers on the 05 and up Gs will never turn out as good as the Brembo fit and finish. That is one thing I love about my 03 and it is definitly a finishing touch that the newers Gs dont have.
