Need to know how exactly to adjust the rear coilover with out messing anything up.... any instructions out there??? Thanks!

The rear height... Do I have to compress the springs or is there a way of adjusting them without dismounting the spring? Im trying my best to adjust the spring with the spanner wrench, but im having a difficult time doing so. I just dont want to **** anything up. Should I take it to a shop?
