Springmount mod

Anyone who did this mod on there coupe have any success with cutting without uneven balance.

I would like to drop the rear a little lower to even out the front drop, but I keep hearing stories of un even drops. (like the left side being lower then right rear)

I just see how that can happen...

any luck anyone?

There is a diy thread with all the info, lots of people have done this with great success. I'm not sure of what you are reading, but it is highly possibly those incidents of uneven drop you are reading about are from PRE-mod. Which is why many people in fact do the mod, not only to balance front vs rear drop but many times side vs side.

Well I used to have an uneven drop in the rear with my 350Z htechs,
but then I swapped out the htechs with stechs, did the .5" spring mount mod
and swapped out the oem shocks/struts with Tokico HPs.
After everything was installed the drop is now even.
I'm not sure why but a lot of us have an uneven drop when doing just springs.
Some do exp the uneven drop with coilovers too, but that's easily corrected.
There are a few that blame incorrect installation, but I'm not buying it.
Too many people experience the same issue.
