Ive noticed my brakes are almost donzo and the wear indicator clip has made nasty grooves into my rotors. I am debating if I should just get new pads and resurface my rotors or just get new (possibly better) rotors altogether.

My questions is that should I get drilled and slotted rotors? We all gotta admit they look badass. But mines is a daily driver and I have no intentions of bring it to the track anytime soon. So do I REALLY need drilled / slotted rotors? Also, do pads wear faster with these kinds of rotors?

 

My suggestion? Metal rotors.
